Program Summary:

This MBA program was done with our sister chapter, Cohen BBG and its purpose was to get girls to believe in themselves and how to become the better, when something goes wrong.

Full Description:

Who? Tikvah and Cohen BBG
What? No Matter What...We Are All Winners MBA Program
Where? JCC
When? March 29, 2009
Why? To get girls motivated to believe in their rights and to become a stronger person
As the girls walked in the room, they saw a circle of Chinese takeout boxes and pieces of blue and yellow paper and they were asked to sit by one. Music was playing in the background and 3 people told them to settle down and then they would start the program. The program is based off a script which is attached. Pens were also passed around for each girl to write what she had to say about certain things that were asked in the program.
Also in the middle of the room, BBG in tea lights was placed and later in the program each girl by grade would take one to remember the day how they became the better person.
Once again, everything you need to know is in the script and the songs are listed in it as well.
Supplies Needed:
-Blue and Yellow sheets of paper
-Chinese Takeout boxes (can be bought at any craft or party store)
-Ipod and Ipod Speakers
-Pens
- 3 copies of the script
-About 50 tea light candles (depending on the amount of people attending)
-Aluminum foil for the tea lights
-Matches or lighter
Planning:
The planning should take about 1 week before the program so that you have all of your materials. And make sure you promote it allot because this program works best with a lot of people. Try combining it with other chapters, but make sure you have an approximate number of people or else the program could go wrong! Everyone should have a box and pieces of paper!
Cost: The price range is about 30-40 dollars. The boxes are the reason why it is a bit pricey. And the tea light candles are best to be bought 50 in a pack. It is about 5 dollars for the candles. Get a pack a colored paper and make sure blue and yellow are in it. The pack should be about 4 dollars. Food isn't needed and there is no admission fee.

Submitter's Suggestions:

In the script, there is a story about a girl named Emily. Try and change the name of the girl because it caused some disrespect and people would laugh. Change it to a name of a person who isn't participating in the program or nobody has. Also make sure to be very clear when explaining the certain tasks given to each girl because many girls became confused.
