Program Summary:

Applying the condition (synesthesia), each of the vitamin waters had a different part in the Shabbat service, which is a great way to learn about the different meanings of the prayers

Full Description:

To start, define synesthesia.
Synesthesia is a neurological condition in which one sense is experienced through the perception of another sense.  Basically, people can taste sights, hear colors, or even feel smells.  Any combination of the five senses occur, although many common types of synesthesia apply color to tastes or words.  Watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvwTSEwVBfc to learn more.  It helps playing it at the program.

The Glaceau vitamin water has many different types with interesting names and interesting labels.  Ahead of time, I (as the creator of the program) put each of the prayers with a flavor based on the meaning of the prayer and what the flavor was called.

-------------------------------------------

Focus (Kiwi Strawberry)- Barechu
This is the part of the service that focuses you on prayer.

Balance (Cran Grapefruit)- Ma'ariv Aravim
When God created the world, there were certain balances.

Essential (Orange Orange)- Shema & V'ahavta
Shema (and V'ahavta) are "essential" parts of the service

Rescue (Green Tea)- Mi Chamocha
The Jews were rejoicing from being rescued at the Red Sea.

Defense (Rasberry Apple)- Hashkiveinu
Hashkiveinu talks about God defending us and giving us shelter.

Energy (Citrus)- Adonai S'fatai
In my experience, Adonai S'fatai energizes the service and introduces a part with new meaning.

Endurance (Peach Mango)- Avot v'Imahot
Avot v'Imahot (Fathers and Mothers) is about our tradition and our ancestors enduring through time.

Power-C (Dragonfruit)- G'vurot
This is literally about God's power.

Multi-V (Lemonade)- Amidah
The Amidah has many different parts to it, just like the many different vitamins.

XXX (Acai Blueberry Pomegranate)- Silent Prayer
You can make silent prayer whatever you want to fill in the X variable.

B-Relaxed (Jackfruit Guava)- Shalom Rav
This is a relaxing prayer about peace.

Revive (Fruit Punch)- Mi Shebeirach
The Mi Shebeirach is about getting healthy.

Formula 50 (Grape)- The rest of the service
There is a certain "formula" to the rest of the service that is a little different everywhere, but always remains generally the same.

-------------------------------------------

After each prayer, it is good to discuss why the drink goes to each prayer, have little cups so everyone can try each one, and sometimes read the labels, which have clever related "readings" for creative input in the service.

Submitter's Suggestions:

Make sure to have the cups of vitamin water poured out ahead of time to help things run smoothly.  Also, make sure to elaborate on our explanations and don't be afraid to put in your own input.
