    Program Summary:

You get together with another chapter, or you can just do it with your chapter. You get activities from different decades and do them. It's tons of fun!

    Full Description:

Malev BBG and Lubel AZA got together for a night of fun and education. We had four stations: Tangled Twister (1990s), Totally Tie-Dye (1970s), Awesome Aerobics (1980s), and Positive Peace (1960s). At the Tangled Twister station, we played twister. At the Totally Tie-Dye station, we tie-dyed. At the Awesome Aerobics station, we followed a Richard Simmons work-out video. At the Positive Peace station, we had the kids write their ideal view of peace in Israel. We had this project at one of the girl's homes. At each station you should have a blurb about events related to Judaism that happened during that century. You will divide everyone up to make 4 groups, and after about twenty or thirty minutes they will rotate until everyone has gone to each station. For this project, you should have services, poster boards, twister, a Richard Simmons video, and tie-dye kits. This is a very simple project to plan and execute. We started off by deciding what decade would go with which activity, then we got facts from each century relating to Judaism. This program costs barely anything. You can get members to donate acrylic paint and it works as tie-dye. Each station had one or two members running it. You will just have to buy poster board to make a peace sign for the Positive Peace station. The members drove other members to this project, and we publicized this through our weekly notifications. You can have snacks and drinks, but it isn't necessary.
