Program Summary:
A very emotional sisterhood program that allows the BBGs to talk about some of their deepest moments.
Full Description:
Supplies Needed:
- lots of tea-light candles (let's be real, it's a BBG program)
-tinfoil, so you don't spill any of the wax on the floor
-tissues! (many girls got very emotional)
Program:
-Start off with a few girls reading a script about scars. Like what a scar is, how it affects someone, etc. However, don't just talk about physical scars, talk about mental emotional scars too.
-Then have one person start off (typically a person who read part of the script)
-Have them say 1 physical scar and then 1 emotional scar
-They can elaborate on their scars if they'd like, like telling the backstory or how it affects them.
-go around in a circle until everyone has shared. It may take a while, cause many girls wanted to share specific details
The program was very moving because we were able to learn a lot about our sister BBGs. Everyone took the program very seriously, which is why tissues were most definitely needed!
This is one of my chapter's favorite programs we ever did! I definitely recommend doing it at a sisterhood sleepover.
Submitter's Suggestions:
make sure the mood is right for this program! Typically, make it the last program of the night because it will lead perfectly into a Good and Welfare
