Program Summary:
Pool party with Shapiro, 63, and Wise. Even though the event was rained out, the project turned out to be a complete success
Full Description:
Shaprio AZA, Wise BBG, and 63 BBG planned had the best plan for the project of the year, have a pool party extravaganza with all of our local chapters and friends. We were going to have food, drinks, friends and fun, which is all quiet a challenge to achieve (especially the fun aspect). All chapters agreed since we were are having a pool party, then the best fold we should cover is Athleticism. Shapiro AZA talked about famous Jewish sports athletes, and how anyone can achieve anything, if you put your mind to it. We had very high expectations for this project.
Just as the project was only a few hours away, Shapiro AZA's S'gan Zach Kornhauser recieved a phone call from other Shaprio member, Ben Rothenburg. Ben told him that the weather was going to be rainy, and stormy, conditions of which are very controversial for a pool party. S'gan Zach Kornhauser considered this fact, and thought this could ruin the project.
As all members of each chapter arrived at the house, we started the inspiring speech of how if you put your mind to anything, you can achieve it. Just as the speech ended, Shaprio member Ben Rothenburg was right... rain had started to fall. Eventually there was flooding, and even lightning. We were all sad as the pool party was officialy cancelled. S'gan Zach Kornhauser was very saddened as to see the party was cancelled. Minutes later, he saw member from each chapter mingle and tried to meet new people. He thought to himself, this might work out to be a fun project overall. Many people said it was a great success, even though the original project was ruined.
Even though the main project was ruined, we all though that in times like those, you can always have a great time, even if your plans had been ruined by any means.
Submitter's Suggestions:
Don't give up, your plans can never completely be ruined
