Program Summary:
Building Matzah houses along with Passover trivia.
Full Description:
Passover is notorious for matzah, so what better way to celebrate the holiday than having a competition involving matzah. At this Reisbord/Wise project we decided to build matzah houses. Before the construction of the buildings we had a service and Passover trivia session. The Passover trivia questions ranged from the history of Passover to the practice of Passover. We then split everyone into groups and gave them the supplies necessary to build a matzah house. Although there was no winner, everyone still enjoyed working together as a group to build the matzah house.
The supplies needed for this project are matzah, marshmallows, chocolate, gumdrops and any other candies you would like them to use for decoration. The only concern for the food is that it must all be kosher for Passover. Make sure you have a big yard because you do not want to get the house dirty.
