Program Summary:

A fun event consisting of several mixers, paint activities and a giant Havdallah involving four chapters (2 AZA & 2 BBG)and many of the AZA and BBG folds where they can mingle and have a good time.

Full Description:

Who: 4 Chapters (2 AZA & 2 BBG): Weinste, Wadel, Lewis & Berger
What: Various mixers, activities involving paint & a giant Havdallah
When: A Saturday Night
Where: A Large Field

Materials: WADEL-Candles (130) LEWIS-Foil and Babywipes (2 ROLLS) WEINSTEIN-Cones & Tins BERGRER-Paint
EVERYONE-Flashlights & White Shirts/Messy Clothing

7:00-7:15    Wait For People To Arrive

7:15-7:30    Circle Mixer
Get into groups of 10 and form a circle. Have one person stand in the middle and say something they have. Ex. “I have a younger brother”. Everyone with a younger brother runs and trades spots with someone

7:30-7:50    Body To Body Mixer
The announcer yells out a body part and a question. Ex. “Hand to hand- what is your favorite time of day and why”? They high five each other and talk about the question.
•    Hand to Hand- Favorite time of day
•    Elbow to Elbow- Favorite band
•    Hip to Hip – First memory of BBYO
•    Foot to Foot – What do you want to be when you grow up?
•    Neck to Neck – Weird fact about yourself
•    Back to Back – Favorite sport
•    Butt to Butt – Favorite food

7:50-7:55    Divide into Chapters

7:55-8:20    Paint Tag
A field will be marked off by cones. Each side will have 3 tins of paint with a certain chapter’s colors (the Noms have a separate color). That chapter starts off on that side and dips their hands in paint. The whistle is blown. The object of the game is to get the most of your color on the other team’s white shirt. After five minutes we will blow the whistle for the teams to re apply their paint.

8:20-8:40    Sharks and Minows
Everyone starts off on one side of the field. The whistle is blown. The point of the game is for the Noms (the sharks) to tag the members (minnows) with their paint covered hands. If a person is tagged they must sit down. The game ends when one person remains.

8:40-9:00    Giant Havdallah
We will get in a giant circle where every member will receive a candle. Every candle will be light and then blown out. We will then do the havdallah prayers.

Submitter's Suggestions:

Make sure to have an ample amount of baby wipes because this program can get messy.

Also, do this project in nice weather. (ours was in February which caused many to people to be very cold)

A mega phone is suggested because it can get very difficult to control such a large group of people.
