Program Summary:

To celebrate how far our adviors have taken us, we had a program dedicated to them.

Full Description:

-The theme of Advisor Appreciation was "Out of this World!" Make sure members get there before advisors to decorate the house with space themed decorations.

-When the advisors first arrived, they were seated as the members welcomed them with a song. The members changed the lyrics to the song "Popular" from Wicked making it all about our advisors and how they have helped make Weinstein so popular!

-After singing the song, The Mit Mom read the intro.
INTRO:
Welcome ladies, to another dimension of Weinstein. Get ready to surpass all limits and move FORWARD into our future. After all, it is twentyten! Tonight is all about our advisors, but it is more than just that. It is a celebration of how far we have come thanks to Amber and Elyse. More importantly, tonight is a time to recognize our futuer that shines as bright as the stars above. You have all probably heard of the "northern star", the star that can give you directions. So tonight, think of our advisors as Weinstein's very own northern star. They have served as a guide thoroughout this past year, and continue to do so. Just like the northern star, we can look up to them for guidance, and without them we would be lost.

-After the intro was read, each of the members had prepared a little speech or poem to read to our advisor. After each girl spoke to the advisors, Weinstein presented each advisor with a gift. The chapter gave our advisors Tiffany Key Neckelaces to resemble that they are the "key to our success"

-the girls socialized and ate dinner

-The next activity of the night was a game of BBG taboo. The cards had words that were about our advisors, our chapter, and fun words relating to Judaism.

-To conclude the program, each person was given string to make a bracelet. There were many beads, each representing a different quality. The beads shaped like stars represented our advisors because we view that as stars!
